Unlimited Joy: Philippians 4:4

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”

-Philippians 4:4

Hello friends,

Over the last couple of days, I encountered a stomach bug, which was not ideal, but I had time to rest and hear from the Holy Spirit. As I was resting the other night I watched the movie,  “MIRACLE”, and there was a scene that really grabbed my attention. Continue reading “Unlimited Joy: Philippians 4:4”

Unlimited Joy: Psalm 30:11

Joy1“You turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,”

-Psalm 30:11

Friends,

Today I believe marks a time and season when God is allowing us to experience an Increase in JOY! Based off the Jewish Calendar, today  we have entered the month of Adar – which means Unlimited Joy! I find it so exciting, to think, that God has prepared this time on the calendar to POUR out UNLIMITED Joy on His children. Continue reading “Unlimited Joy: Psalm 30:11”

Unlimited Joy: Guidlines

joy2

Hello Friends,

I feel very inspired to encourage you to Increase and Develop your JOY!! With the help of the Holy Spirit I will be sharing verses and insight over the next month to help you ACCESS God’s limitless JOY. I believe God desires to see His children abounding with joy, through the power of His Spirit. You may think, that’s a novel idea, but what about when Life hits me hard? What about when my husband loses His job? Or When my Mom is diagnosed with cancer? Or when I have a loved one battling addiction? How do I abound with joy, when dealing with the darkness of this world??

I Hear you friend… I know this, in our own human strength, it IS impossible to “count it all Joy”. However, with Christ, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I hope that over the next couple weeks you will gain understating and revelation about Biblical Joy. It is possible to ACCESS and LIVE in God’s pure, heavenly Joy. Dare to BELIEVE!

I want you to get the most out of this Season of Unlimited Joy, so here are some suggestions:

  1. Spend time meditating on the verse. I encourage you to write the verse down and ask the Holy Spirit for help in understanding! The Holy Spirit is our teacher and is able to reveal the word of God to us; making it applicable to our everyday life! (John 14:26)
  2. Pray the Word. Use the verse of the day to guide you prayers. Pray bold prayers – Speak about the joy to come, not about the struggle you are facing. These bold prayers, based on truth, will activate your faith.
  3. Start and end your day with Gratitude. Find the small and big moments that truly make you see God’s hand in your life and thank him for his goodness. Keep a record  this month of all blessings you are receiving. (James 1:17)
  4. Spend time in worship. Worship is a powerful way to connect to God’s presence. Find a song to be your VICTORY PRAISE,  and make it your anthem over the next couple weeks! (One of my favorites – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awkO61T6i0k)

I pray you are inspired and encouraged to ask God for MORE JOY! I believe that these  verses, devotions, and songs will help you to experience the power of God and access His,  UNLIMITED JOY.

Enjoy the process,

Sarah

You Can Do Hard Things

birth

“When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.”

-John 16:21

As I am on cusp of giving birth to my third baby I have been thinking a lot about THE PAIN. I have given birth twice now, and each birth was different. My first birth I was induced, and went the pitoccin/epidural route. However, I went a couple hours before getting an epidural (till 7 cm) and when I finally got it, it only took to half my body. SO, in my mind, the epidural was NOT ideal, not what I wanted and left a bad taste in my mouth… So with my second birth I was determined to have a natural labor – both in the sense of not being induced and not receiving an epidural.  Continue reading “You Can Do Hard Things”

Let Go of Control

surrender

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

-John 8:32

This morning I was writing to God and it came up that I have beLIEfs that are separating me from His presence. I came to him this morning feeling burdened by my own mind, asking Him to help me sort myself out. I asked that He reveal to me what is the root issue of my stress and restlessness? I said, show me – How can I live in your peace again? How can I be overflowing with your Joy and Passion again? Show me Lord what is holding me back from fully resting in your Holy Presence?
